We're looking for one or two front of house superstars to join our small team.
The restaurant is The Fish House located in Moorabbin Airport (outside DFO complex)

The position:
-Working collaboratively to execute friendly and efficient service.
-Oversee junior and temporary staff during busy periods.
-General cleaning and organisation of restaurant and FOH storage areas.
-pour beverages and assist guests with wine selection. RSA EEQUIRED
-Opening & closing procedures.
-Assist with weekly ordering and stock control.
-Work autonomously in quiet periods.
-Make coffees in an efficient manner
-Establish and maintain friendly relations with regular customers and local patrons.
-Solving service problems should they arise.
-Willingness to learn & positive attitude

The Fish House Australian Seafood Co is seeking experienced and passionate chefs/ Cooks to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation
* Knowledge of Australian and NZ fish and seafood would be an advantage.
* Prepare and cook food to a high standard
* Collaborate with Managers and Kitchen staff on food preparation issues
* Demonstrate cooking techniques and share knowledge with the team
* Enforce hygiene and safety
Experience & Requirements:
* experience in a busy restaurant kitchen necessary
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team
* Passion for cooking and a willingness to demonstrate culinary techniques
